Open a Vein
About the project:
The main component of this installation is the handwritten version of my essay,“Open a Vein: Suicidal Black Metal and Enlightenment," published in Helvete: A Journal of Black Metal Theory. Hair weaves found on the streets of San Francisco (tumble weaves) and mixed-media, bone & glitter, blackened collages complement the crispy, charred black metal theme.
