Hello!

I am a writer and artist. My professional experience is in the field of fine art practice and art education. I write about art and culture and have published essays about music, poetry, fashion shows, performance art, college art education, and my own art projects. Highlights have been my solo and collaborative work as Si-si Dance & Performance Art Project, forays into costume design, and visual art–collages, drawings–inspired by dark music. Currently, I am writing a chapter for an anthology proposal which explores connections between Romanticism and heavy metal music. I like geology and drawing from nature, especially rocks.
